JI demands the govt to purge police of black sheep

KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi chief Engr. Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has demanded of the government to purge Sindh police of black sheep.

He demanded this on Thursday while visiting the family of slain student who was killed in a fake police encounter.

On the occasion, he offered Fatiha for the departed soul and prayed Almighty to bestow the grieved family with courage.

The JI leader said that corrupt police is the biggest hurdle in dispersion of justice.He added that the department has been badly politicized and corrupt elements have ruined the department from top to bottom.

Engr. Naeem further said that any attempt to shelter the culprits or weaken the case against them would not be tolerated.

He demanded the authorities to bring the killers and their associates to full justice and get them awarded exemplary punishment.
