KARACHI: Amir jamat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman on Thursday expressed concerns over major power breakdown in metropolis Karachi.
He demanded the government to take action against K-Electric as it had failed to provide electricity to the citizens.
Hafiz Naeem said that K-Electric put Karachi into darkness. He said that K-Electric increased the miseries of people in the Holy month of Ramadan. He said that K-Electric had failed to maintain electric system in Karachi.
Hafiz Naeem further said the power company was taking only profit and was not interested to resolve issues.
He said,“It is proved by the K Electric during previous night that K Electric could not handle the emergency situation and they are not doing any activity for resolving Breakdowns in Karachi.”
