KARACHI: A delegation of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Chapter on Tuesday visited the People’s Secretariat to facilitate the newly elected President of Pakistan People Party (PPP) Karachi Division Najmi Alam.
The JI delegation comprised of its Karachi Ameer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, General Secretary Abdul Wahab, Information Secretary Zahid Askari and Qazi Sadruddin.
The JI delegation congratulated the President PPP Karachi Division Najmi Alam and hoped that he will play his due role to resolve the issues of Karachi and its people.
During the meeting, the leaders of JI and PPP discussed the matters of mutual understanding and also exchanged their views on upcoming local bodies’ (LB) polls.
The PPP leaders including Sardar Khan, Farid Ansari, Izhar-ul-Haq Hasan Zai and Latif Mughal were also present on the occasion.
