JI condemns arrests of veiled ladies in Bangladesh

LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) deputy chief, Hafiz Muhammad Idrees, on Thursday strongly condemned the arrests and harassment of  veiled ladies in Bangladesh. He said that PM Hasina Wajed’s tyranny and oppression had crossed all limits.

In a statement here, he said that after the fake trials and execution of the Jamaat-e-Islami leaders in Bangladesh, Hasina’s government had begun the arrests of respectable Bengali women wearing Hijab.

He demanded stopped of all unlawful arrests and immediate release of the arrested ladies.
