JI warns of laying siege to punjab assembly

LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Senator Sirajul Haq on Monday refused to become a part of the movement by those who looted the country.

The JI chief announced this while addressing a ceremony here.

However, the senator said that the agenda of the all parties movement (APC), scheduled to be held on Sept 20 in Islamabad,  had not unveiled yet.

The JI chief said they would not become part of any movement until it contains the agenda to eradicate corruption and interest from the country.

Meanwhile, JI spokesperson Qaiser Sharif said today that the JI would not attend the opposition’s APC.

However, he added that the JI would continue the the process of holding consultations to address the problems being faced by the masses.

He claimed that the JI would play a role of real opposition in the country.
