Imran Khan contacts Jahangir Tareen as PPP's March heading towards Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has contacted disgruntled party leader Jahangir Tareen and inquired about his health.

This was revealed by Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Geo News show.

The foreign minister said that the prime minister was told that the condition of Jahangir Tareen was not good, therefore, he called and inquired about the party leader’s health.

It may be mentioned here PTI leader Jahangir Tareen had left for London via air ambulance a few days ago.

Earlier, before leaving for a medical check to London, Jahangir Tareen, the PTI’s disgruntled leader had conveyed a message to his like-minded MNAs that they must stay united and in touch.

Sources said that Jahangir Tareen had spent a week at a private hospital here for medical treatment.

They added that Tareen would stay in London for a week.

He told lawmakers that he was going for a medical checkup [but] we must stay united.
