The Centre for Excellence in Islamic Financeat the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi (IBA – CEIF) has announced its 2nd International Islamic Conference on the 19th and 20th March 2018 at, Karachi. After the resounding success of its 1st conference in 2016, the “World Islamic FinanceForum (WIFF) 2018”promises to bring togetherrenowned researchers, academicians and practitioners for generating new ideas. The theme for WIFF 2018 is “Expandingthe Footprint of Islamic Finance: Innovation, Fintech and Regulation”. Over the next few years, the Islamic Financial sector is expected to undergo profound changes. Issues relating to growth of the sector and impact of regulations will be discussed by key personalities from the global Islamic finance arena who have agreed to participate in the conference. The event will feature presentations by high ranking officials from the government and academia who have been engaged in the Islamic Finance Industry. Participants are expected from USA, Malaysia, Bahrain, Bosnia-Herzegovinaand Turkey among others.
