ISLAMABAD: In a major development day ahead of Islamabad lockdown, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan telephoned disgruntled Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) supremo Tahirul Qadri which apparently ended deadlock.

Imran Khan made telephonic conversation with PAT supremo Tahirul Qadri to invite him for Islamabad protests against Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) led government. PTI chief reportedly tendered apology twice over his controversial remarks against Tahirul Qadri in his old press conference.

The invitation was accepted by Tahirul Qadri and ordered PAT central leader Khurram Nawaz Gandapur to finalise preparations for march towards federal capital Islamabad.

Tahirul Qadri confirmed media for his telephonic conversation with PTI Chairman Imran Khan. However, he refused to comment over personal attendance in the Islamabad lockdown event. He said whole nation was united against corruption.

He detailed that Khurram Nawaz Gandapur will finalise procedures and preparations of the Islamabad protest after consultation. Qadri added he could never ever forget sacrifices of PAT martyrs.

It should be mentioned that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had announced to hold public gathering in federal capital Islamabad on November 02 in order to protest against corruption and delay in investigation into Panama Papers’ leak.
