Experts have claimed that Islamic State militants used chemical weapons last month against Kurds in Syria and Iraq.

UK based Syrian observatory for Human rights reports said that IS used poisons gas while shelling a Kurdish village Rajm al-Tfihi in Syria, late June.

The report said that at least 12 YPG (Kurdish People’s Defense Units) fighters suffered vomiting, suffocation and eye-burns in the aftermath of an IS shelling of the village.

The observatory obtained doctors’ testimonies and laboratory analysis that confirmed that the IS used some sort of a poison gas in the attack.
