Independent Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Engineer Rashid was attacked with black ink and Mobil oil by Hindu activist at the Press Club in Delhi on Monday.
As per details, Engineer Rashid came to attend a media briefing in Srinagar along with the family members of killed Kashmiri trucker by fanatic Hindus in Udhampur district of Jammu region.
It is pertinent to mention here that, a completed shutter down strike is being observed in Kashmir today over the death of truck driver who was set on fire on October 9. He passed away yesterday (Sunday).
The strike call was made by Syed Ali Gilani, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Muhammad Yasin Malik, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, trade bodies and Kashmiri Pandits’ organisation Sangrash Simiti and supported by all Hurriyet leaders and organisation.
