NEW DELHI: Indian forces will not take more than 7 to 10 days to defeat Pakistan, Indian prime minister claimed here in a bid to woo voters ahead of New Delhi elections.

Addressing at the National Cadet Corps (NCC) rally, Modi claimed that India had ‘defeated Pakistan’ in three wars.

He claimed that in case of another war Indian forces would defeat Pakistan in seven to 10 days.

Experts said that the BJP-led India government has been making controversial anti-Muslim and anti-Pakistan statements to woo voters ahead of next months’ New Delhi elections.

Earlier on Tuesday, a BJP MP had vowed to remove all the mosques built on government land in his Lok Sabha constituency in the capital if his party wins the next month’s polls.

BJP MP Parvesh Verma stated this during a meeting held at the Vikaspuri assembly constituency on Tuesday, Indian media reported.

I will remove all the mosques from the government land in my Lok Sabha constituency within a month time after winning the coming elections, he claimed.
