NEW DELHI: Indian Minister for External Affairs Sushma Swaraj on Saturday said that Kashmir issue is a part of composite dialogue with Pakistan but not all talks are composite dialogue.

Sushma Swaraj who also briefed media about Pakistan India dialogue after Pakistan’s National Security Adviser Sartaj Aziz did the same repeated the Indian stance that terrorism and talks cannot go together.

The Indian minister too cited alleged ‘ceasefire violations’ along the Line Of Control (LoC), terrorism and taking “Hurriyat leaders on board as third party” as reasons for jeopardizing the atmosphere of talks.

“I ask Sartaj Aziz to come up with his agenda but do not bring a third party and limit the talks to terrorism”, Swaraj said.

She maintained that the Ufa agreement also cited that the NSA level talks will only feature terrorism related talks.

She said that India wasn’t running away from the composite dialogue in the past but would not engage on any issue other than terrorism with Aziz.

“In Ufa, it was decided to create an atmosphere for discussion on all issues,” she said.
