LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has called a meeting of the Punjab parliamentary party tomorrow, in which the final consultation will be held regarding the future of the Punjab Assembly.

Finally, Imran Khan and Chief Minister Punjab Pervez Elahi met but the final decision to dissolve the assembly was not taken.

After the meeting, Imran Khan called a meeting of the Punjab Parliamentary Party tomorrow. Now, in the meeting tomorrow, there will be a final consultation about the future of the Punjab Assembly.

Chief Minister Punjab Pervaiz Elahi says that he will support every decision of Imran Khan, whatever Imran Khan says, he will act without hesitation.

After the meeting, Pervez Elahi said that the decision will be what Imran Khan says. There is agreement on everything, there is no issue, he said. We are all one, he added.

PML-Q’s Moonis Elahi said that in the meeting, Parvez Elahi assured that the Chief Minister is the property of Imran Khan and the assembly will be dissolved whenever Imran Khan wants.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Fawad Chaudhry has said that maybe some members of our party are of the opinion that the provincial assemblies should not be dissolved, but when the decision is made, they will all resign.

Speaking to the media, Fawad Chaudhry said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf wants elections before March 20. Maybe some members of our party are of the opinion that the provincial assemblies should not be dissolved, but when the decision is made, they will all resign.

On meeting the American ambassador, he said that the ambassadors of the US and other countries are in contact. The ambassadors want to understand the point of view of the political parties, he said.

Earlier, PTI Senior Vice President Fawad Chauhdry Tuesday met US Ambassador Donald Blome at the US embassy in Islamabad, sources said.

Country’s prevailing political situation was discussed in detail in an hour-long meeting, the sources said.

On Monday, PTI Senior Vice President Fawad Chaudhry has said that the party’s leadership had approved dissolution of both Punjab and Khyber Pakhtukhwa assemblies.

He added that as you all know, PTI is quitting the assemblies. He said, therefore, the party’s senior leadership has approved the decision to dissolve the assemblies.
