ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that Imran Khan, seeing his defeat, gave illegal subsidy on petrol.
During a press conference in Islamabad, Federal Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb criticized former prime minister Imran Khan and said that when he left the government, one dollar was worth 189 rupees.
He said that Imran Khan had signed the agreement with the IMF. When he came to know that he was losing, he gave illegal subsidy on petrol. Imran Khan cheated the people by giving illegal subsidy.
The Information Minister said that we are trying to save the people from the economic catastrophe of Imran Khan. The current inflation rate is actually due to Imran Khan.
He further said that those who point fingers at others are using Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government helicopters to attend their meetings.
Earlier, Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb had announced that if the PTI’s planned long march on Islamabad results into bloodshed, then the PML-N government will take measures to stop it.
Marriyum’s comment came in response to Sheikh Rasheed’s remarks when he voiced his fears that the PTI’s planned long march might get “bloody” and demanded the “powerful quarters” to intervene.
Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, the PML-N leader criticised Imran Khan and said that nothing is bothering him more than the fact that Shehbaz Sharif has become the country’s premier through a democratic process.
Earlier, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marrityum Aurangzeb had criticized the Chairman PTI and former prime minister and said that Imran Khan is threatening the Chief Election Commissioner.
She clearly said that the elections will not be held on the threats of Imran Khan. The elections will be held by the Election Commission of its own will.
The Federal Minister said that 16 per cent inflation in the country is due to Imran Khan. Loadshedding in the country is also due to Imran Khan.
