Imran Khan appeals funds for corruption drive

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has appealed for donations over its fight against corruption ahead of the march to Islamabad to demand accountability against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

They have requested party workers and members to make a minimum donation of hundred rupees, and contribute to the fight against corruption.

Imran Khan has hinted over an extended showdown in Islamabad as they plan to block roads leading to several government buildings including the National Accountability Bureau, Federal Board of Revenue, and the Election Commission of Pakistan.

He once again reiterated that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will either have to resign or be held accountable for his corruption particularly over the Panama Papers.

He is also expected to announce a change of date today for the march which was scheduled for 30th October.
