ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed has said that announcement of PTI Chairman Imran Khan for launching of a protest was aimed at freezing the process of economic growth.
Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Tuesday evening, he said protest of PTI earlier caused a delay of six months in the launching of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
The Information Minister expressed sorrow and grief over the killing of two PIA employee persons in Karachi and extended condolences to the bereaved families.
He, however, pointed out that it is not yet known who fired the shot. He said neither Police nor Rangers resorted to firing and it is understood someone from within the gathering fired the bullet.
