LAHORE: Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal has said that if the president wants to facilitate talks with PTI then we are ready.

If Imran Khan wants to hold talks through Arif Alvi then our doors are open for that too, he said.

Ahsan Iqbal while talking to Javed Chaudhry on a local TV show said that if the President plays a role in the talks, we are ready for talks. The president should be active again. He has a constitutional position and we need this.

He said that it is not a good tradition to involve non-political organizations in politics. If Khan Sahib wants to have any kind of discussion while staying within the democratic circle, then our doors are open for him.

Ahsan Iqbal revealed that some people of Tehreek-e-Insaf had contacted them. They also had a conversation with us, but they expressed their compulsion and said that Khan Sahib does not even listen to us.

On the other hand, Fawad Chaudhry said that President Arif Alvi has a mandate for negotiations, whatever has to be discussed will be done with him and it will only be about the election.

He said that there is nothing wrong if you show your willingness for the election. Give a date and discuss the framework, he added.

Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah made a conditional offer of talks to Imran Khan on Tuesday.

During the press conference in Islamabad, Rana Sanaullah said that Imran Khan says that the sea of ​​people is moving with him. The number of marchers have decreased as the march moving ahead, he said.

The federal minister said that it is our responsibility to form an inquiry commission in the matter of Arshad Sharif. If his mother thinks that some other method should be adopted then she should guide us.

Earlier, Federal Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that foreign-funded fitna offered life time extension to the army chief to save his power.
