Karachi: Karachi Mayor Wasim Akhtar said that none of my letters were answered by the President, Prime Minister, Chief Secretary and Minister for Local Government. I have been crying for four years but no one listens to me.

He stated this while addressing a press conference here on Monday.

The mayor said that he has brought the mandate of 30 million people, I have more mandate than the Chief Minister, half the population of Sindh. I have the mandate which is not even with the CM but I am still not listened to, he complained.

Wasim Akhtar accused the Sindh government that they do not want development of Sindh and Karachi. He added that the provincial government wants to loot the the city’s resources.

They did not build Larkana, Sehwan and Dadu. They destroyed Mirpur Khas and now destroying Karachi, the mayor said.

He urged the Supreme Court to take notice of the situation in Karachi.
