Hyderabad Intermediate Board announces results

HYDERABAD: Controller of Examinations, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Hyderabad, on Friday announced the results of Higher Secondary Certificate Part-I (Class-XI), Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, Science General and Humanities (Regular/Private) Groups, Annual Examinations-2015.

According to an announcement, a total of 25,143 students including 12,366 male and 12,777 female appeared in Pre-Medical Group examinations, out of them 19,009 including 8,376 male and 10,633 female students have been declared pass in all subjects.

A total of 2,340 students have been declared pass in five subjects, 1,175 in four subjects, 748 in three subjects, 215 in two subjects and 90 candidates have been declared pass only in one subject.

A total of 43 students have been declared fail in all subjects. Results of 238 candidates have been withheld due to copying case while results of 383 candidates have been withheld by the Conduct Branch because of different reasons.

In Pre-Engineering Group examinations, a total of 16,294 students including   14,746 male and 1608 female appeared, out of them 9,366 students including 8434 male and 932 female have been declared pass in all subjects.

4,237 in five subjects, 1,205 in four subjects, 552 in three subjects, 123 in two subjects and 49 candidates have been declared pass only in one subject.

A total of 34 students have been declared fail in all subjects. Result of 184 candidates have been withheld on charges of copying while results of 539 students have been withheld by Conduct Branch due to different reasons.

In Science General Group examinations, a total of 823 students including 510 male and 823 female appeared, out of them 290 students including 131 male and 159 female have been declared pass in all subjects.

The results of four students have been withheld on charges of cheating while the results of 20 students have been withheld by Conduct Branch owing to different reasons.

In Humanities (Regular/Private) Group examinations, a total of 6,950 students including 2576 male and 2374 female appeared, out of them 4,849 candidates including 3,013 male and 1836 female have been declared successful in all subjects.

Results of 50 students have been withheld on charges of copying case while results of 239 candidates have been withheld by the Conduct Branch because of different reasons.
