LAHORE: The Pakistan Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has issued a rain alert to all the deputy commissioners here on Wednesday.
In the alert, the PDMA forecast heavy rains and wind storm for Lahore during the next four to five days.
The weather advisory said that a rain system is present over the city which is likely to cause heavy rains and windstorms from Wednesday night (tonight) to Saturday night.
It directed the district administration to be ready to deal with any emergency situation in the city.
