KARACHI: There has been rain and some drizzle with strong winds in different areas of Karachi on Wednesday morning.
After the arrival of rain clouds from the Arabian Sea, dark clouds descended on Karachi.
Some places with strong winds and thundershowers in Clifton, II Chandrigar Road, Garden, North Nazimabad, Gulshan Iqbal, Gulistan Johar, Orangi Town, Federal B Area, Water Pump, Ayesha Manzil, Landhi, Korangi, Lyari and Malir Halt areas of Karachi. It has rained and drizzled somewhere.
According to the meteorological analyst, there is a possibility of rain on the coastal belt of Sindh including Karachi in 1 to 2 hours, the rain system is likely to affect Karachi till tomorrow.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in Thatta, Badin and Hyderabad in the next few hours.
On the other hand, stormy rain and hailstorm have occurred in coastal Balochistan including Turbat, Kech, Mand, Awaran and Gwadar. Several people were injured due to hailstorm in Awaran. It is hailing.
Rain is also expected in Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan today.
