LAHORE: Various parts of the country, including the provincial capital, on Thursday remained in grip of scorching hot weather with maximum temperature in the city recorded 46 degrees Celsius.
According to the Met office, the heat wave will last for another couple of days as there are no imminent signs of rain or clouds.
Temperature in other cities of Punjab was recorded as 45 degrees Celsius in Faisalabad and Bahawalpur, 49 degrees Celsius in Rahim Yar Khan while 46 degrees Celsius was recorded in Multan and Bahawalpur.
