DURBAN: Pakistan’s highest 9th wicket partnership between fast bowler Hasan Ali and skipper Sarfraz Ahmed took the green shirts to a relatively fighting 203 in the second ODI at Kingsmead in Durban today.

Ali’s 59-run innings is a third highest score by a batsman batting at 10th position in ODIs.

Pakistan secured a 1-0 lead in the five-match series after Imam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Hafeez set up a five-wicket win in the opening ODI at St George’s Park on Saturday.

Batsman Hussain Talat and teenage pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi are in the Pakistan playing XI for Imad Wasim and Usman Shinwari.

South Africa made two changes to their side, with Dane Paterson and Tabraiz Shamsi coming in for Dwaine Pretorius and Imran Tahir.

Skipper Sarfraz Ahmed is playing his 100th ODI today, becoming the 32nd cricketer and only the fourth wicketkeeper to achieve the feat for Pakistan.
