Hafiz Naeem urges youth to come forward and lead Karachi

KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi chief Engr. Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has urged youngsters to participate in the progress and development of the city and take this cause as a part of their faith.

He expressed these views while addressing JI youth convention, held at JI Karachi headquarters Idara Noor-e-Haq.

In his address, he urged youngsters to pace up their efforts to bring a peaceful Islamic revolution in the country. He termed youngsters as first line of revolution.

The JI leader was of the view that the national scenario in general and situations in Karachi in particular need youngsters to come forward and take matters into their hands. He asked young people to realize their responsibility while keeping the future of the country in their vision.

He said that three decades of the baseless politics of divide and rule have ruined the city of lights. He added that it is high time for youth to come forward and lead the city. He was of the view that the darkness of ethnic politics is about to end in the city and that evil forces, who were ruling over the city for decades, are going to meet their logical end.

Talking about the issue of Kashmir, he said that the martyrdom of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Muzzafar Wani has bestowed a new spirit to the movement for freedom of Kashmir. More than 150 days have gone but the enthusiasm of Kashmiri people is still on its peak and the entire region has been resisting to the cruel occupation of India on Jammu and Kashmir.

JI Youth Wing Karachi chapter president Hafiz Bilal and others also addressed the convention.
