Hafiz Naeem inaugurates Alkhidmat’s another diagnostic center in Karachi

KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Engr Hafiz Naeemur Rehman on Saturday inaugurated another diagnostic center in Karachi, offering state of the art services on discounted rates on welfare basis.
Speaking on the occasion, the JI Karachi chief said that Alkhidmat has maintained it’s reputation as a reflection of service, welfare and honesty.
He said that donors and philanthropists donate heafty amounts to Alkhidmat on the basis of the trust Alkhidmat has earned. He further said that apart from service sector, Alkhidmat has bestowed the city gems like late Nematullah Khan who played a crucial role for the betterment and development of the megalopolis.
Talking about the services of Alkhidmat, he said that Alkhidmat has drilled some 2500 wells in Thar in order to provide safe and clean drinking water to the people in the remote area. He also mentioned that Alkhidmat offers clean drinking water for just Re1 per liter. It is running orphanages and other services under it’s orphan care program, he said, adding that overall Alkhidmat serves humanity in seven major spheres.
He said that the contribution of Alkhidmat to the society provides a ground for the state machinery to ponder upon the question that why are they lagging behind when even a nongovernmental organization is able to deliver so much with limited resources.
The JI leader said that the situation should also be a matter of concern for people. On the occasio, he asked his fellow citizens to use their votes wisely in favor of those who are able and intended to serve the nation and the city.
He said that unfortunately the city of lights has lost a lot in the past three and half decades by electing criminal mindset. The economic nerve of the country can not be spared anyone for looters, he said.
Engr Naeemur Rehman urged the masses to elect those who they believe would handle the resources of the city with honesty and skillfully.
DHO South Dr Muhammad Ahmed Qazi paid a rich tribute to Alkhidmat for its services particularly in the health sector.
Alkhidmat Karachi chief executive Naveed Ali Baig, Alkhidmat Director Medical Services Dr Saqib Ansari, JI leader Sufyan Dilawar and others also addressed on the occasion.
