Govt writes letter to CJP to constitute commission

ISLAMABAD: The government has written a letter to the Supreme Court Chief Justice for constituting commission on  Panama papers.

Earlier, the prime minister announced to write a letter to the CJP to form the commission in his address to the nation.

According to the details, acting Law Secretary sent the letter to Supreme Court Registrar to constitute a commission to probe the offshore companies of Pakistani citizens.

The letter urged the CJP to lead the commission. The commission will be formed under Pakistan Commission of  Inquiry act-1956 and terms of references were also enclosed with the letter.
