Gmail is now 15 years old and on its anniversary Google has announced new features for users.

In a blog post, Google said a new feature had been added to Gmail which lets users schedule emails to be sent at a more appropriate date or time, which is helpful for those working across time zones or wanting to avoid interrupting someone’s time off.

Google has announced to make Gmail more assistive by updating Smart Compose an AI-powered feature which allows users to write emails faster. Smart compose will be updated to add more languages (Spanish, Italian, French and Portuguese) and will be available on all Android devices with an iOS version coming soon. The Smart Compose feature will also offer personalised suggestions.

Gmail will also let you take action such as responding to comment threads in Google Docs without leaving your inbox.
