German School land in Orangi town should be save from Land Mafia: Hafiz Naeem

KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Chief Engineer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has demanded of to free the area of German School in Orangi town sector 11, Gulshan-e- Bahar from Land Mafia. He urged to make the hospital, school or Park on particular area which will be in the interest of Public welfare.

He expressed his views in a meeting with PS-95 delegation at Idare Noor Haq. Vice Ameer Orangi Zone, Hafeezur Rehman, Public add committee Zone president, Noorul Islam were also present on the occasion.

The JI leader Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman assured the delegation that he will speak at each level and will contact the relevant bodies and the administration to protect the land from mafia.

The mega Orangi Town’s side sent a request to the high civil and military officials on this important issue, including the President of Pakistan, Prime Minister, Chief Justice and urged the government and administration immediately take action, delegation said.

Manazirul Hassan told about the details, Asia’s largest slum, Orangi Town, Karachi Sector Norwegian School located at 16 Town Spring (also known as German School) was established by (Non Governmental organization) NGOs  and minorities having an organization of people who established the School.

A conservative estimate, it contains 20 acres of limited land and being on the main road is worth billions, that is why some political and non-political elements influential and so-called NGOs is trying to engulf the land, he added.
