Four soldiers embraced martyrdom in two militant attacks near Pak-Afghan border

North Waziristan: Four Pakistan Army soldiers were martyred while one other was hurt when militants opened fire on them in two separate incidents occurred near the Afghan border.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement on Saturday, suspected terrorists from across the Pak-Afghan border opened fire on soldiers. The soldiers were working on border fencing when came under the attack.

As a result, three Pak Army soldiers were martyred and one injured.

Separately, miscreants opened fire on security forces while patrolling near Spinwam tehsil’s Abba Khel area late Friday night, martyring 23-year-old Sepoy Akhtar Hussain.

The martyred soldier was a resident of District Baltistan.

The statement said that two miscreants were also killed in the exchange of fire.
