SAHIWAL: A former Union Council Nazim (administrator) Rao Shakoor was killed in a gun attack in Chichawatni area of Sahiwal district of Punjab.
Police sources say that the firing incident occured in Block Number 10 Piyala Chowk where Shakoor was sitting.
Shakoor was seriously injured in the gun attack and was taken to the hospital where he breathed his last after succumbing to his injuries.
Shahkoor is the brother in law of Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Muhammad Iqbal.
