Five PPP leaders from Punjab may join PTI today

LAHORE: Five key leaders of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) from Punjab have decided to join the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) as party leadership failed to address their reservations.

Sources told on Tuesday that former federal minister Nazar Muhammad Gondal, former provincial minister and president of PPP’s Okara chapter, Asharf Khan Sohna, former state minister Samsam Bukhari, former MNA from Narowal Chaudhry Tariq Anees and Arif Lashari might might join PTI today. They said that PPP leadership had failed to address their concerns.

The PPP leaders may formally announce their decision in a meeting with PTI chief Imran Khan in Islamabad today.
