MAIDUGURI: As many as five people were killed when a bomb in Gamboru market in Nigeria exploded on Friday.
The blast occurred in Gamboru market in Nigeria’s northeastern city of Maiduguri early in the morning, a policeman and a rescue worker said.
A dozen people were brought in with injuries as well as four bodies so far to a local hospital.
Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state, is frequently targeted by Islamist group Boko Haram.
