KARACHI: With just one day to go to begin the Pakistan Super League’s 7th edition, a fire broke out at the Karachi’s National Stadium.
Sources said that the fire broke out during welding operations at the stadium.
They said that a fire brigade was called in to extinguish the fire.

The commentary box built specially for the Pakistan Super League’s 7th edition matches was badly damaged due to the fire. The blaze also damaged the boundary SMD cable.
The Pakistan Super League’s 7th edition will begin from tomorrow (Jan 27).
During the mega event, 15 games will be played in Karachi over the next 12 days.
