At least four terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire with Frontier Corps (FC) on Tuesday near Winder.
The spokesperson said the security forces on their search operation near the area. The armed militants opened fire at the raiding part on their arrival.
In retaliation, all four terrorists were killed on the spot.
The bodies were dispatched to Karachi for identification. The law enforcement agencies also recovered heavy weapons from the deceased militants.
