ISLAMABAD: There had been credible reports of presence of miscreants in the sit-in, who have an intention to kill people, the interior minister said here on Thursday.

Speaking to media, Ahsan Iqbal said that now there was no dispute with regard to law of finality of the Prophethood. The law had not been made secretly as representatives of religious parties were also part of the committee. Now the law of finality of the Prophethood is more effective and strong.

Practically speaking a few people had made millions of people hostage in the capital, Iqbal said.

We have been adopting a path of dialogue, he said and added that important announcements are expected over the next 24 hours.
