Affectees cooperated in removing encroachments on Mahmoodabad Nullah: Sindh CM

Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that the affectees cooperated in removing encroachments on Mahmoodabad Nullah and they will not be left alone.

A meeting of the Karachi Coordination Committee was hosted by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in which provincial ministers Saeed Ghani, Nasir Shah and other officials participated.

Federal Ministers Asad Umar, Aminul Haq, Ali Zaidi and other officials from the federal government also attended.

The meeting was briefed that the length of Mahmoodabad Nullah is 19.03 sq km, and almost all the encroachments have been removed from the drain. Some of the encroachments are remaining which are being cleared.

After the Karachi Coordination Committee meeting, the Sindh Chief Minister held a joint press conference with Federal Ministers Asad Umar and Aminul Haq and said that the affectees cooperated fully in removing the encroachments on Mahmoodabad Nullah and would not leave the victims alone.
