KARACHI: Economic Cooperation Organization Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ECO CCI) has finalized its Executive Committee and General Assembly meetings at Ankara, Turkey from December 21 to 23, 2015.
The meetings will be presided over by Mian Muhammad Adrees, President ECO CCI and FPCCI. On the sidelines of Executive Committee and General Assembly meetings, the Specialized Committee Meeting on six different subjects such as Industry and Investment, Arbitration, Women Entrepreneur Council, Transportation, Tourism, Trade Facilitation will also be held. The founder member states of ECO CCI Pakistan, Iran and Turkey have already confirmed their participation in the Executive Committee and General Assembly meetings at Ankara, Turkey.
The Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) is a platform of 10 countries namely Turkey, Iran and Pakistan as founder members while Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan are the member states of ECO. The national Chambers of Commerce & Industry of ECO member states are the members of ECO Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the Presidency of ECO CCI was shifted to Pakistan in September last year for next three years.
