ISLAMABAD: The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) has directed the Ministry of National Food Security and Research to monitor supply position and prices of gram pulse.
The directives came during meeting of the ECC held here on Thursday under the chair of Federal Minister for Finance, Senator Ishaq Dar.
The Committee has also asked the Ministry to co-ordinate with the provincial governments for ensuring price control and steady supply of gram pulse in the market.
Issuance of sovereign guarantee by Ministry of Finance in respect of syndicated term Finance facility for136.5 billion Rupees for the power sector was also approved in the meeting.
The ECC allowed Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources for replacement of lower Zakum crude price with Das Blend crude to determine market price for oil refineries.
The Committee approved three months salaries for Pakistan Steel Mill Corporation employees.
