KANDAHAR: Playing a double game in Afghanistan, Indian planes landed here in the guise of airlifting their diplomats and dropped ammunition to be used by Afghan forces against Taliban, whom New Delhi has been trying to engage in Qatar.

Sources said that two Indian C-130 planes landed in Kandahar on July 10 and 11 in the garb of airlifting their diplomats and delivered over 40 tons of ammunition of 122-mm cannon.

The development has exposed the real agenda of India of supporting Afghan forces against the Taliban.

On the other hand, New Delhi had been trying to hold talks with Taliban in Doha.

As per reports, India has evacuated about 50 members of its diplomatic staff from Kandahar consulate today.
