FAISALABAD: The CIA police Lyallpur Town Tuesday claimed to have busted a dacoit gang. Two members including ring-leader were arrested from Kutchi Abadi Railway Colony.
Police spokesman Amir Waheed said that Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) CIA Lyallpur Town Muhammad Anwar conducted a raid and arrested Rizwan alias Jano (ring-leader), son of Zulfiqar Ali, and Umair, son of Amjad. However, their two accomplices — Anwaarul Haq and Asad — escaped from the scene.
The police recovered two pistols, four motorcycles and a number of bullets from their possession. These dacoits were wanted to police of Batala Colony, Factory Area and Saddar circles in a number of cases.
