SRINAGAR: The people of occupied Kashmir are under military curfew and without Internet facility on the 137th consecutive day here on Thursday.

Last month, Indian forces had transferred two Kashmiri youths Muhammad Afzal Lone and Fayaz Ahmed Ganaie to Srinagar Central Jail from Kupwara and Srinagar areas.

Both were arrested on alleged charges of organising anti-India protests and hurling stones.

Earlier in October, the post-paid voice calls were restored in the valley.

Meanwhile, former occupied Kashmir chief minister Mehmooba Mufti on Thursday said that the Modi government has created the Kashmir-like situation across India.

In a message posted on Twitter, PDP President Mehmooba Mufti said: “Fellow citizens don’t need to visit Kashmir anymore to witness their subjugation. BJP has brought Kashmir right to the doorstep of every Indian”.
