Croatian earthquake killed seven people while 20 were injured

Zagreb: Seven people were dead and more than 20 were injured in earthquake at European country central Croatia, here on Tuesday.

According to foreign media reports, Recorded magnitude of the earthquake was 6.4 in Petrinja, a town of southeast of the Croatian capital Zagreb, while the epicenter was 10km underground.

The officials said that,Some people were sleeping in their vehicles and some people were staying with there relatives. After earthquake, about 200 people took shelter in military barracks.

The aftershocks also felt in Croatia’s neighboring countries Serbia,Bosnia, Herzegovina and Vienna,the capital of Austria.

Croatian defense minister said that rescue teams are working to rescue those who were affected in earthquake, the injured were shifted to hospital for medical assistance.
