ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain says economy of the country has improved considerably as a result of prudent policies adopted by the present government.
Addressing the convocation ceremony of Institute of Space Technology (IST) in Islamabad on Thursday, he said international financial institutions have recognized the improvement of Pakistan’s economy.
The President said the Government has started a number of mega development projects.
He said China Pakistan Economic Corridor is an important project which will generate economic activities and huge job opportunities.
The President said projects under CPEC will usher in a new era of development and prosperity.
The President said ship building industry will also be established and a number of energy projects will be completed under the Corridor.
He said that Gwadar Deep Sea Port will be made completely operational which will be most important port of the region.
Mamnoon Hussain appreciated the Institute of Space Technology for its research in space technology and said it is being recognized at international level.
The President gave away degrees and medals to the passing out students in various disciplines.
