LASBELA: At least 15 passengers, most of them were personnel of Balochistan Constabulary suffered injuries as their Karachi-bound passenger coach overturned on RCD highway in Kundi area near Bela in Lasbela district, here on Friday.
The police sources said passenger coach, “Shandar Coach” left Khuzdar for Karachi and the vehicle overturned on RCD highway due to over speeding when it was passing through Kundi area near Bela in Lasbela district. “As a result, 15 commuters including personnel of Balochistan Constabulary have suffered wounds,” they said. “Most of the injured were personnel of Balochistan constabulary who were on their way from Khuzdar to Karachi,” they added.
The rescue teams rushed to the scene and shifted the injured to hospital. According to doctors, condition of some injured was critical who have been referred to Karachi.
Lasbela police have been investigating the incident. Further probe was underway.
