PTI to contact ECP, if ghost polling stations found: Imran Khan

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said that they would go to Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) if ghost polling stations were found in NA-246 by-polls on April 23rd.

He asked Muttahida Qaumi Movement to let people cast their votes freely. Imran demanded Rangers to keep peaceful situation in the vicinity during by-polls in NA-246 constituency of Karachi.

He was talking to media at PTI leader Arif Alvi’s residence along with PTI candidate Imran Ismail and others.

He said that the by-poll results will decide the future of Pakistan. Imran said that they wanted to bring back lights in Karachi. He said that businessmen had left Karachi due to violence, terrorism and extortion. Imran asked ECP to the hold by-polls fair and free.

PTI leader Ali Zaidi has pointed out four ghost polling stations in the vicinity. He demanded ECP to remove the ghost polling stations from the list. He said that MQM has made a rigging plan. Zaidi asked Rangers to make sure that no one could bring ballot papers outside the polling stations on April 23rd.
