Islamabad: Finance Adviser Abdul Hafeez Sheikh on Thursday said that the consumers could pay the utility bills after three months due to the ongoing lockdown in the country.
He said that the loss caused by the three-month delay in payment of electricity, gas, telephone and water bills would be borne by the federal government.
Speaking at a ceremony here, the adviser said that the government had announced a Rs1200 billion package for the affected people.
He said Rs100 billion were being earmarked for the affected workers of small factories.
