RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Sunday visited frontlines troops, deployed along the Line of Control (LoC) in Haji Pir Sector of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
The COAS was given detailed briefing by the local formation commander on operational preparedness of the units and formation, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), in a news release here stated.
Speaking on the occasion, the COAS showed his complete satisfaction over high state of morale, operational preparedness and vigil, being maintained by troops along the LOC.
Earlier on arrival, COAS was received by the Corps Commander, Lieutenant General Malik Zafar Iqbal.
