CNG association announces protest over prolonged closure

KARACHI: All Pakistan Compressed Natural Gas Association on Wednesday announced to protest outside Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) office over prolonged closure of CNG.

The CNG Association President Shabbir Salman announced that the authorities announced a 48 hours halt in the supply due to low pressure but the supply has still not been restored.

The traders and association members will protest outside SSGC office in Karachi for resumption of supply of the gas.

A large chunk of public transport including buses, rickshaws rely on CNG fuel. A day’s closure of CNG station affects a large part of population especially the working class which commutes through public transport.
