Chief Justice of Pakistan Anwar Zaheer Jamali has taken suo moto notice of appointments of police officers in Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and issued a notice to attorney general.
A three member bench led by CJP conducted the hearing of the suo moto notice and summoned the attorney general on July 14.
The notice was taken on the plea of FIA officers.
In the application it was stated that, FIA is an investigation agency and due to appointments of police officers FIA’s career is at stake.
