China eases restrictions on coronavirus epicentre Wuhan

BEIJING: China on Wednesday removed tough restrictions on the Wuhan province, the epicentre of the coronavirus outbreak after no new local case reported here.

The province had been under lockdown for months.

However, the Chinese National Health Commission said that another 47 imported cases from overseas were reported.

It added that overall 474 imported cases were diagnosed in China. These Chinese nationals had returned home from other countries.

Meanwhile, four more coronavirus patients died in China today.
